Aarna Agarwal is a student at the Singapore American School, where she studies Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, English, and Chinese. She has been an active member of the school club Geek Girls since 2021, where students host engaging STEM-related activities, encourage member presentations on relevant scientific topics, and organize talks and events. Her valuable contributions culminated in her selection as President and Officer of Geek Girls in 2022. She also serves as Vice-President of the school club Peace of Mind, where she oversees the volunteering program for children at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore. Additionally, she was elected as Co-Captain and Electrical Engineer of the school's SpaceLab where she is overseeing a team working on an experiment measuring the polyurethane consumption from microspore fungi in microgravity to be conducted aboard the International Space Station.
Aarna seeks learning opportunities at every turn, delving into diverse domains such as robotics, sustainability, and business, and hopes to study engineering in college to develop innovative solutions for the most pressing social challenges. She is also an accomplished athlete, training at the Archery Academy of Singapore, and has been competing at the national level since 2018.
